idk, maybe you just need a desert spring break🤔 idk, maybe you just need a desert spring break🤔🥾🌈✨🏕️ At home in the Midwest the sun came out for the first time in so long I realized I had genuinely forgotten that I’m *supposed* to have the energy to cook dinner at night, and doing the dishes actually *shouldnt* feel like an insurmountable task, and it’s kind of wild because I didn’t even realize how into the winter “slump” I was until all the sudden I was pulled out of it a bit. Lately though I’ve definitely been feeling overwhelmed by pretty much everything, like there are more tasks and things I need to do than there are hours in the day if that makes sense. Absolutely everything has felt like an uphill battle, and I know that for me it’s because of the season. I feel like that at the end of every February, and it always passes. I hard limited my time on social media this week to focus on work. I deleted threads because I was spending way more time scrolling and getting upset about things happening in our world than I was actually working on concrete tasks in front of me that might make a difference. Anyways, if you’re feeling that way too right now, like you’re not physically able to do everything on your plate, even when those things are like… dishes and laundry, just know you’re not alone and it’s getting lighter every single day. Anyways, today I buckled down and opened the windows and actually cleaned for the first time in a really long time.
